you’re being human. i’m sorry that your friends aren’t quite what you’d hoped for. But seriously, give it time, and you will find that there are more people like you then you could have possibly imagined.

and also while i’m giving unsolicited advice: if you miss the way you felt before and cant figure out how to feel that way again, sometimes it helps to fake it.
sometimes it all has to start with the outside and then it can work its way back to you. =D

i miss you too. are you going to the spring fair and/or the rock concert?

hey i’m glad i checked back here! you finally updated it!

oh forget the callback, your a wonderful singer. Even the best have bad days, its just luck. you should trust your friends opinions! we may have insights and you know, we care about you enough to be truthful!
and your good at acting too! we wouldn’t have let you be Alice if we thought you weren’t good, right? you held that whole fucking disaster-waiting-to-happen of a play together. somehow. i’ll never fully understand how that worked. = )
Having a sense of humor is no crime, and can be a huge relief in a serious environment. its A GOOD thing. GOOD!!!
as for dancing, i truly haven’t seen you do enough of it to be much of a judge. but if you think your better at that then you are at singing and acting, then i’m sure your amazing.

i feel your pain. if you haven’t already; try asking him if his grades were any better at your age and say “when i start getting all c’s, and obviously cant handle it, then you can micromanage me. but until then, why dont you let ME do MY schoolwork in the way that works for ME. not you,dad. Me.”

i gave my parents something along those lines and they’ve kinda backed off. also, it works to catch them off guard with this sort of comment. not right in the heat of argument. then you can remind them of it later.

but sorry you’re suffering. they just know what is leaning on these grades better then we do.
